Fourth and final in the line up. Boy howdy. A little liminal, a little work sim. And a lot of wait what. Was that? Oh glob. Good build, not much in the way of jank. The multiple endings feel interesting. The cyclical aspects fun to think about. I really like how the liminal section play with tension, and dial up the weird slowly. Good Job, I'll have to dig into your other games some time.
This game was a blast. I couldn't really figure out the lore the game was trying to present, I guess the character killed a kid or something. I also didn't know how to achieve the second ending, but I think it may be unlocked after playing the game a few times. Great game, very well done!
So I've run into a sort of problem. I saw this game on this website, and thought it would be a cool game to record for my youtube channel. I love this type of slow build horror, doors closing on their own, lights flickering, odd voices in the dark, sounds. So, I have a Macbook Pro laptop. I downloaded the game, but when I opened it it brings up this pop up saying: "This application Lakefront Restaurant" cannot be opend." It was really annoying. I even double clicked, went into the package contents to the physical file, tried opening, and still same message. I tried using terminal to boot it up, permissions, system preferences and still says the same thing. Is there a way that I can just open it and play it?
This was a bar above the usual 'tidy away the trash' restaurant/convenience store type indie games out there - there was a subtle yet slow-build feel to proceedings, with a narrative that felt impactful to the player.
The mundane task of cleaning dishes with the occasional eerie phenomena occurring really kept the pace going - ratcheting up the tension.
The story itself was a little ambiguous to me - with the radio announcement I wasn't entirely sure whether a) the owner of the restaurant had some nefarious entanglement in proceedings. If so, would have been nice to see some notes from the owner as the game progressed. b) The main character killed the girl and had a second chance of redemption by saving the baby in the second playthrough? c) It was all in his head and his regret of losing a friend caused him to hallucinate the things happening in the restaurant.
Either way, I enjoyed my time at Lakefront Restaurant and hope you get a kick out of the vid ;)

As always doesn't need the PSX-Filter, it takes a row in the "walking Sim, do normal stuff, until scary thing happens". It has good pacing and atmosphere.
But i'm very confused about the Story, he killed someone (the Owner?) and the man is his mind/regrets haunting him?
A fun little game. it would be great to add more than just a few spooks, as this has potential! I enjoyed it, and the first spook or 2 got me in the mood for the rest of it.
Hello, I played this game and I liked it, but it needs work, adding sprint option would be neat and I don't know if I got the ending or not, the game kept restarting which is intentional I think, but it made it really confusing, also the doors weren't opening properly, it just got really confusing after a while, also, so I really hope stuff like that gets fixed hopefully, over all, I enjoyed it, good work :)

I have absolutely no idea what this game was supposed to be, but all enjoyment in playing it was sucked away by the unnecessary amount of dishes to do and a lackluster ending. It was a good concept, but overall I can’t say I recommend anyone playing this game.

Bug i had well playing this awesome game: In the part of the game where ??? runs at you, if you stick to the left or right side of the wall, he runs right past you and is stuck at the end of the hallway which allowed me to walk around the area for a while before returning and tapping him to continue the game, just thought id point it out. Love this game!!! Cant wait to see more of it
But i do want to say, that this was a very VERY fun game. I thought that it was really big and probably had a million downloads or something like that, but was shocked to read the comments and see only a couple of ratings!!
This was a fun little game. I enjoyed how it wasn't just another killer chasing and full of little jump scares. I ended up running through the same thing 4 times I feel I must of missed something it just kept repeating over and over so I posted my first run through, if there's a proper ending a missed it completely!
Still playing through it, however, I did encounter a bug. It was after opening the door with the keycode, and then falling down. I'm not sure if the flashlight just didn't spawn correctly for me, or what, but it was pitch black, so i was waiting thinking it was still loading, but used a key to move and heard my footsteps, but there was no light anywhere, no matter how much i turned the camera (not even sure the camera was turning, like i said, it was pitch black) I quit to the menu, then clicked start and continue, when I went back in, I had to redo the code, but the flashlight spawned this time
Ok, more bugs to report. I'm at the house now, just finished flipping on the breaker for the lights. And I go into the room, the radio starts, and I read the note. Now 2 separate things started happening from here.
1) As I looked for the ringing phone, I would go into a room, the door would start closing as I left the room, so went to the other room, it started closing as I was still in, and then nothing. So, I had to close out and go back in, because the door was locked, with me inside.
2) Again, after the room with the note, I went in, and I listened to the radio, again, and the door unlocked, so i clicked on it, but it didn't open, so I clicked again, it did a quick animation of the door opening just to be closed and locked again. So, I couldn't get out.
I really want to finish it lol, but having to listen to the radios again, and not be able to skip is slowly making me ready to move on from the game. Gonna try again anyways

I've been seeing most of these problems stem from a lack of objects not activating or failing to deactivate.

Nice game. I like the more subtle spooks at the beginning. The dish washing part may need a bit of a tweak, feels like actually being a dishwasher xD
